Bevor es in die Sommerpause geht, wollen wir am Freitag, den 30. Juli zum
Doktorandenstammtisch grillen. Ab 20 Uhr treffen wir uns im Garten der
Bundschuhstr.5 in der Dresdner Johannstadt. Mehr…

Im August und September finden keine Exkursionen oder Treffen statt.
In der Sommerpause planen und organisieren wir Veranstaltungen für das
Wintersemester 2010/2011.

Und nun noch etwas in eigener Sache: eine Freundin veranstaltet am Mittwoch, den 14. Juli ein Benefizkonzert “Commit tanzen!” für ein Umweltprojekt in Indien im Bärenzwinger, zu dem ihr alle herzlich eingeladen seid. Für das Konzert konnten verschiedene Dresdner Bands gewonnen werden, die ein vielfältiges Repertoire von Rock über Ska bis hin zu Folklore bieten. Die Einnahmen des Eintritts von 3 Euro kommen dem Projekt zu Gute. Dear PhD Students,

Do you want to refresh yourself in this heat? You could join our rafting
tour on the Elbe on Saturday, 17th of July. From the 8th of July we will
give away the remaining seats for this trip in our Culture Office during our
opening hours. More …

Before the summer break, we want to have a barbecue for our Regulas?
Table for PhD Students on Friday, 30th of July. We meet at 8 p.m. in the
garden of Bundschuhstr.5 in Dresden Johannstadt. More …

There are no excursions or meetings taking place in August and September as
we are organizing the events for the winter semester 2010/2011.

And now something on my own account: a friend is organizing a charity
concert “Commit tanzen!” to support an environment project in India.
The concert takes place on Wednesday, 14th of July in “Bärenzwinger”?
from 7.30 p.m. and features various bands from Dresden offering a wide range of music from rock, ska and folk. You are cordially invited to come! The
earnings from the entry fee of 3 Euros are to be used for the project. More
information can be found on the homepage of the association “Commit”, www.com-mit.org/dresden.
