Whatever political stance you take in this year’s US presidential election, we invite you to join us for our official election night on November 8\/9, 2016<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

From 8 p.m. on, you can listen to live interviews, presentations, and short lectures on different topics from US politics and political culture; you can follow the election on CNN\/FOX and Twitter; or you might want to pass the time with quizzes and ‘bulls**t bingo’.<\/p>\n

In line with the evening’s geographic focus we are planning to have a potluck dinner, so please contribute to our menu<\/strong> with cookies, salads, chips, bread, cake, and whatever you like.<\/p>\n

There will be a selection of non-alcoholic (yet caffeinated) beverages that you can buy to keep you up all night.<\/p>\n

The event is co-organized by the Institute for Political Science, the Institute for Communication Studies, and the chairs for North American Cultural Studies and for North American Literature.<\/p>\n

The evening will be hosted by the Institute for Political Science, at the Gerberbau (3rd floor)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
