Als auf der Apple WWDC 2010<\/a> das iPad vorgestellt wurde war ich nicht sonderlich \u00fcberrascht – gab es doch gen\u00fcgend Ger\u00fcchte – zumal ist die Idee nicht neu. Bereits in den 90ern gab es die Idee des Touchscreen-PC die mit den „convertables“ auch seit 2005 marktreif und bezahlbar wurde.
\nNat\u00fcrlich waren meine Kollegen und ich als Apple-Fan durchaus vom Design angetan (auch wenn mir der Spott mit dem „zu gro\u00dfen iPhone“ sicher war :-)) und weil unser Team sich t\u00e4glich mit neuen Medien im Bildungskontext befasst, lag es auch nahe zu untersuchen, wie man das iPad daf\u00fcr einsetzen kann.
\nDa wir uns bereits mit mobile learning und micro learning befasst hatten war der Schritt zum „in-house-Projekt“ nicht weit.
\nNachdem wir den Direktor des Medienzentrums von der Zukunftstr\u00e4chtigkeit unserer Ideen \u00fcberzeugt hatten, war es im Juni soweit …<\/p>\n

Die ersten iPod touch und iPhone erreichten uns und l\u00f6sten wahre Eurphoriewellen aus. Aber erst die iPads, die leider verz\u00f6gert erst im Juli ankamen zogen dann doch alle Blicke auf sich.

When the iPad was presented at the Apple WWDC 2010<\/a> I wasn’t impressed so much, because there were a lot of rumours before. And the idea of a convertable wasn’t new; in the late 1990’s some nerds already have had the vision of a computer with touchscreen and since 2005 you could buy them.
\nSure my colleagues and me (I’m an Apple-Fan) were impressed by the slim design of the iPad. Because we daily deal with educational media and technology in teaching contexts,\u00a0 we started researching how to use the iPad in the learning process.
\nAfter we convinced the director of the Media Centre following our „innovative“ ideas we\u00a0 bought some mobile devices (not as much as Prof. Kerres<\/a> but enough for us).
