It was a fierce competition: we received\u00a0<strong>84 applications<\/strong>\u00a0from all continents! Unfortunately, we could only accept\u00a0<strong>28 participants<\/strong>. The organization committee evaluated the submissions according to overall excellence in academic research as well as the thematic fit between the applicant\u2019s work and the overall topic of \u201cInclusive Innovation in Health Care\u201d. The competition for the open slots was tight and some of the best applicants were offered a space on the waiting list in the case other participants do not confirm their attendance.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">We informed all of you via e-mail about your individual decision. We are very sorry and a bit sad that we can only offer some of you a place in our Summer School since the quality of your applications was very high. However, we strongly encourage all applicants to continue their work enthusiastically.
