Read and Meet: Author Tom Drury (US)

On May 2, 2017, 7 p.m., at the Galerie für Zeitgenössische Kunst in Leipzig, American writer Tom Drury (US) is reading from his trilogy Grouse County. The reading will be followed by a discussion with Prof. Crister Garett, from the Institute of American Studies, University of Leipzig. Admission will be free.

Tom Drury has published several novels and short fiction , including The Black Brook (1998), Hunts in Dreams (2000), and Pacific (2013). His shorter fiction has been published in The New Yorker as well as in The New York Times Magazine, among others.

Drury has taught as visiting writer at various universities in the US and is the current Picador Guest Professor at the University of Leipzig.
