Reminder: ASL Grad Conference “American Cultures of Dissent”
The 6th American Studies Leipzig Grad Conference is less than a week away – on April 28/29, contributions from emerging scholars in the field of American Studies investigate diverse representations and conceptions of dissent:
– Literature as (a Form of) Dissent
– Challenging the Limits of Legal Resistance
– Representations of National Identity in Acts of Dissent
– (En)countering Structures of Hegemony
– Limits of Narrative Dissent
The conference provides a platform for emerging scholars of American studies and related fields to present their research, get inspiration, and build on their network.
Please note that there is no conference fee.
For more information on the program and venue as well as on how to register for the conference see the conference webpage.
