Guest Lecture at the University of Jena: Lecia Brooks

On July 16th the North American Studies Program at the University of Jena will host an „America Day“ with a special focus on Martin Luther King. Lecia Brooks, Outreach Director of the Southern Poverty Law Center, will give a keynote lecture on the occasion.

Lecia Brooks leads the Southern Poverty Law Center’s outreach efforts on key initiatives and social justice issues. As outreach director, she frequently gives presentations around the United States to promote tolerance and diversity. She also serves as director of the Civil Rights Memorial Center in Montgomery, Alabama.
