In 2015, Ursula Maria Ewald provided the first German translation of Gordon Leidner’s Abraham Lincoln. Quotes, Quips, and Speeches. On October 11, 2016, Ewald will be reading from this translation, Abraham Lincoln. Vermächtnisse, at the Literaturhaus Villa Augustin in Dresden. The reading is hosted on the occasion of the International Translation Day, which was celebrated on September 30, 2016.
