Upcoming Presentation and Discussion with Christoph von Marschall: ‘What is the matter with the Americans? ‘

Donald J. Trump has been the 45th President of the United States for more than 100 days now and the past three months were everything but uneventful: from the so-called ‘Muslim-ban’ or the cancellation of the Trans-Pacific Partnership to a more recent attempt to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act (better known as Obamacare), the first 100 days of Trump’s presidency offer much to reflect on.

Christoph von Marschall will discuss the present and future ramifications of these first months of Trump’s presidency in his presentation – “Was ist mit den Amis los? Hundert Tage Präsident Trump und die Folgen für Amerika und Europa.” Both the presentation and following discussion will be held in German.

Christoph von Marschall has worked for the Berliner Tagespiegel and was a White House Correspondent under President Obama. He has written several books, one of which – titled “Was ist mit den Amis los – will be presented on the occasion.

The event is co-organized by the Heinrich-Böll-Bundesstiftung and Weiterdenken – Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung Sachsen.
