New Collaborative Research Center at the TU Dresden: Project in American Studies

TU Dresden’s new Collaborative Research Center (CRC) “Invectivity: Constellations and Dynamics of Disparagement” also includes a project in American Studies: The Chair for North American Literature is involved in the CRC with a project titled “Toward the Poetics and Politics of Disparagement in US-American Popular Culture”. In its first phase, the project will focus on invective poetics and politics in contemporary U.S. television culture.
