Tutorium: Writing a Research Paper in American Literary Studies Summer Term 2015

term paperThis tutorial is designed as a workshop that is meant to help students who are writing a research paper (including a BA thesis) in American literary studies. It will address important aspects and elements of such projects, e.g., how to find a productive topic, how to research relevant secondary texts, how to design a thesis-driven paper, how to develop an outline, how to work with and correctly document your sources. These issues will be addressed in a small set of workshop sessions which are scheduled to help you meet the deadline for papers at the end of the current semester. Participants are expected to work on a research paper in the course of the tutorial, putting into practice the discussed standards and strategies.
