Decisions Made

Our diligent organization committee assessed all submissions for the Interdisciplinary Summer School “Social Sciences Meet Health Care” in Dresden within the last days. It was a fierce competition: we received 84 applications from all continents! Unfortunately, we could only accept 28 participants. The organization committee evaluated the submissions according to overall excellence in academic research as well as the thematic fit between the applicant’s work and the overall topic of “Inclusive Innovation in Health Care”. The competition for the open slots was tight and some of the best applicants were offered a space on the waiting list in the case other participants do not confirm their attendance.

We informed all of you via e-mail about your individual decision. We are very sorry and a bit sad that we can only offer some of you a place in our Summer School since the quality of your applications was very high. However, we strongly encourage all applicants to continue their work enthusiastically. We thank you for submitting such good work and for showing your interest in the Interdisciplinary Summer School “Social Sciences Meet Health Care”.
